Tham Vande Narasimha Thirta Nilayam Sri Vyasaraat Poojitam Dhyayantam manasaa Nrusimha Charanam Sri Sripadaraja Gurum

Sri Sri Vignananidhi Theertha Swamiji belongs to the SRI SRIPADARAJA MATHA of MAADHVA SAMPRADAYA.

In the lineage of Sri Madhvacharya's parampara the eighth illustrious saint, philosopher and social reformer was Sri Sripadaraja who is the reincarnation of "Sri Dhruva".

Sri Sripadaraja took sanyasa from his Guru Sri Swarna Varna Tirtharu belonging to the lineage of Sri Sri Padmanabha Theertha, who was one of the first and direct disciples of Sri Madhvacharya, the fountainhead of DWAITA philosophy.

The Guruparampara has it that, Sri Sripadaraja was the Guru of Sri Vyasaraja. Sri Raghavaendra, one of the greatest saints of the Dwaita philosophy, was the reincarnation of Sri Vyasaraja.

Sri Sri Vignananidhi Theertha Swamiji, who is the 35th Pontiff of the Sri Sripadaraja Matha, took sanyasa from his Guru and predecessor Sri Sri Vijayanidhi Theertha Swamiji in the year 1987 at Mulbagal, Kolar district of Karnataka in South India.

An erudite scholar and a saint with a deep faith in spreading the practice of Sanathana Dharma across India, without transgressing the traditional values, the Swamiji was instrumental in celebrating a yearlong festival of the six hundredth birth centenary of Sri Sripadaraja in the year 2002. He also guided in conducting a rare "Bruhathi Sahasra Homam" also known as "Maha Koti Yagnam" in a grand manner at Mulbagal.

The Swamiji guided "Madhya Kailas" a temple in Adayar, Chennai, South India in the conceptualisation of Sri "Aadhyanta Prabhu", a breath taking amalgam of Lord Vigneswara and Lord Anjaneya, the only one of its kind in India.

The Swamiji is one of the great sources of guidance and strength to "Madhya Kailas".

Under His benign and spiritual guidance, the Maha Kumbhabhishekam of "Madhya Kailas" was performed in the year 2003.
